Event Overview
The MAAGCS Annual Championship is being played at Gibson Island Club in Gibson Island, Maryland on Wednesday, October 2, 2019. Bill Reil will be our host on the Charles Macdonald/Seth Raynor design. The magnificent scenery afforded by the extraordinary views of the Chesapeake Bay & Magothy River as well as the golf course's unique topography provides our Members & their guests with an exceptional golf experience. Gibson Island Club's golf course ranks as one of the best nine-hole courses in the United States, and while Gibson Island Club may be Macdonald’s least known course, it is certainly among his best!
The golf event will crown the MAAGCS champion golfer of the year. Your defending champion is Jeff Rice of Oak Creek Golf Club. We are hoping for a full field, so please sign up early and get your games in shape. As always this will be a spectacular event with networking and fun competition. Don't forget! Participating superintendents will can gain an additional entry into the drawing for the GIS giveaway.
