Position: Assistant Superintendent, Stonewall Golf Club at Lake Manassas, 15601 Turtle Point Drive, Gainesville, VA 20155
Operation: 18 hole, Tom Jackson Design, Upscale daily fee/semi-private facility. 7002 yards, 30k annual rounds. Bentgrass greens, tees and fairways. Rainbird automatic irrigation system.
Anticipated Annual Expenses: $700,000
Annual Capital Improvements $60,000 - $100,000
Duties: Golf Course Maintenance, staff supervision, responsibilities also to include: clubhouse lawn, greenhouse, flower gardens, trees, shrubbery, plant nursery, and ability to assist in equipment repair and upkeep,
Responsible to: Superintendent

Education: 2-4 year degree or certificate in turf or related field.
Experience: At least 2 years golf course maintenance experience to include: daily setup, various turf equipment operations, pesticide/fertilizer application and calibration, irrigation setup and repair, and turf disease identification. Applicant must possess a current Virginia pesticide applicator's license or be able to obtaine one immediately.
