The Baltimore Country Club is seeking an individual who is interested in developing and pursuing a career in turf and golf course management. This individual will work closely with the Club’s Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents in learning and performing all golf course maintenance responsibilities including chemical and fertilizer calibration and application, irrigation and drainage maintenance and installation, water management, all activities related to preparing the golf courses for daily member play, and performing and leading special projects. Interested candidates must have previous golf course maintenance experience and some working knowledge in the application of fertilizer and chemicals on golf courses. Also, a strong attention to detail, self-motivated, and be customer service oriented. Candidates must have, or can acquire, the State’s certificate/license of pesticide/fertilization applicator license within 6-month period. A Bachelor’s, Associate’s, or Certificate degree in turf management or related degree or equivalent experience is required, and the ability to communicate in Spanish is helpful.
