The Courses at Andrews is the largest Military Golf course in the world, housing three, 18 hole golf courses. We are currently looking for a Turf Equipment Technician/ Equipment Manager/ Mechanic. As the Golf Course Mechanic/ Turf Equipment Technician it is your responsibility to help maintain and repair equipment and vehicles used for the golf course and clubhouse.
The golf course maintenance fleet has a mixture of Toro and John Deere turf equipment, along with Progressive rough units and EZ-Go golf carts.
The Ideal person will have knowledge of turf equipment (Golf course preferred but not required) and able to manage their time to limit down time of equipment. Familiar with golf and turf mowers, both rotary and reel type. Knowledgeable with bed knifes, diesel engines, and manual tire changing. There will be a preventative maintenance program in place to help with the equipment, but things do break and we need to get them up and running as quickly and as cost effective as possible.
Some training will be available for specific task such as grinding, diagnostics, and selected turf related equipment courses.
All tools are provided by the golf course.

Salary: $19.28/ Hr- Step increases and Cost of Living raises depending on Federal Government Regulations.
