First Assistant Superintendent Cutalong Golf Club

    Background

Cutalong Golf Club at Lake Anna is the centerpiece of a master planned community at Lake Anna. The golf course is holding its Grand Opening weekend on July 1, 2021 and was designed by Virginia native and past President of the American Society of Golf Course Architects Tom Clark. Mr. Clark also enlisted the assistance of Senior Architectural Editor for Golf Digest Magazine Ron Whitten. The golf course is private.

The fairways and tees are Tiff Tuff Bermuda grass, and the greens are Pure Distinction bent grass. There are native areas throughout that have been seeded with Scottish Links. Bunkers were built using Capillary Concrete drainage systems. More information and pictures of the design can be found online at www.cutalonglakeanna.com.

It is expected that the successful candidate will be considered for the Head Superintendent Position when the current superintendent retires.
