2019 Chesapeake Challenge

The Chesapeake Challenge is a Ryder Cup style match between the MAAGCS and ESAGCS. Teams of two players from each association will play a best ball match. 1 point will be awarded to the winning team, with 1/2 point being awarded to each team in the event of a tie. The association with the most points after all matches have been played will be declared the winners of the Chesapeake Challenge and will be awarded the President's Trophy.

The annual match takes place at Queenstown Harbor Golf Course in Queenstown, MD. ESAGCS is defending after winning 8-5 in 2020, breaking MAAGCS' three year winning streak.

Matches are handicapped so players of all levels are encouraged to play!

In line with the theme of the event, this year we will have special guest speaker Jason Ruth of Harris Seafood. He will share his expertise on the fascinating process of oyster farming and other aspects of the Chesapeake Bay.
