Manor Country Club, located in Rockville, Maryland, is currently seeking an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Description: Established in 1922, Manor CC is a family-oriented club dedicated to top-quality course conditions. The club

includes 27-hole of golf, 10 tennis courts, and two swimming pools. This year Manor will be celebrating its 100th anniversary. The club will also be hosting the 2022 Maryland Open.

The original course was designed by William Flynn. In 2005, the Championship 18 was renovated by Arthur Hills, with

• A1-A4 bentgrass USGA-spec greens, L93 bentgrass tees and fairways. The Harry Pitt executive 9 has Bent/Poa pushup
• greens and Bermudagrass fairways and tees. The position will provide exposure to many different grass types and their
• varied management needs.
• Position: Manor Country Club is looking for a highly motivated individual that has a great passion for the turf industry.
• Must be able to work in a team environment, manage and prioritize the daily tasks of the crew, have strong
• communication skills, and a good eye for detail. Oversee chemical/fertilizer applications as well as irrigation repairs. The
• Assistant Superintendent will be involved in all facets of the golf course maintenance operation, including budgeting,
• purchasing, daily course set-up, water management, and project management. Seeking candidates of any skill level.
• Recent or upcoming graduates are encouraged to apply.

Education & Qualification Requirements:

• 2-4 year degree in turf management or related degree
• Maryland Pesticide and Fertilizer Applicator License, or ability to obtain within 6 months
• Spanish literate a plus
• Valid driver’s License

Salary: $80,000 - 60,000 dependent on experience and qualifications
