Salary: $55,000–$65,000 per year, based on experience

Raspberry Falls Golf & Hunt Club, one of Northern Virginia’s premier golf destinations, is seeking a skilled and motivated Equipment Technician to join our team. Designed by Gary Player and set in the rolling countryside of Leesburg, VA, our course offers a spectacular setting for golfers and an exceptional workplace for golf industry professionals.

The Equipment Technician is responsible for assisting in the management and execution of a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for all golf course equipment. This role reports to the Golf Course Superintendent and plays a critical part in ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and peak performance to maintain superior course conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on gas, diesel, and electric turf maintenance equipment
• Assist in implementing a comprehensive preventive maintenance schedule
• Conduct reel grinding, blade sharpening, and height-of-cut adjustments to ensure optimal turf performance
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs, parts usage, and labor
• Assist with equipment inventory and procurement of parts and shop supplies
• Support the training of operators on safe and proper use of equipment
• Perform on-course equipment checks to verify operational efficiency
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Communicate effectively with Superintendent and team members regarding equipment needs and priorities

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of experience in turf equipment repair and maintenance preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Experience with reel grinding and small engine repair
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to adapt and learn new equipment technologies
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills
