Quinton Oaks Golf Club seeks Golf Course Superintendent
The Superintendent at Quinton Oaks Golf Club in the Northern Neck of Virginia will play a pivotal, hands-on leadership role in the revitalization and daily management of the golf course. With a new influx of capital, this position is ideal for an entrepreneurial individual eager to implement upgrades and elevate course conditions to new standards. Core responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of golf course maintenance, agronomy, and grounds management, as well as supervising and developing the maintenance team, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. The superintendent will collaborate closely with ownership and management to develop and execute improvement plans, optimize turf health, and drive operational efficiencies. Preferred Qualifications:
- · 2-4 years of experience as an Assistant Superintendent or Superintendent
- · Ability to obtain Virginia Pesticide Applicator License within 90 days
- · Experience with irrigation system repair and water management
- · Knowledge with Bentgrass greens and warm season grasses
- · Experience with basic equipment repairs and mower adjustments
Compensation & Benefits:
- · $75,000 - $85,000 depending on experience
