Baltimore Country Club is seeking a driven, detail-oriented Assistant Superintendent to join our agronomy leadership team during a truly dynamic period in the Club’s history. Key Responsibilities, Knowledge, Skills & Aptitude
The Assistant Superintendent works closely with the Director of Agronomy and Golf Course Superintendents to:

Lead daily maintenance operations and crew management
-
Execute championship-level course conditioning

Assist with renovation and capital improvement projects

Manage water, fertility, and plant health programs
-
Support budgeting, scheduling, and long-term agronomic planning
-
Develop and mentor seasonal and full-time team members
Preferred Qualifications

Passion for championship conditioning and attention to detail

Strong leadership presence and team-building skills

Interest in construction/renovation project management

Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development

Degree in Turfgrass Management or related field (preferred)
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $55,000 – $70,000 (depending on experience)
