Equipment Manager
Queenstown Harbor Golf Resort
Queenstown Harbor Golf Resort, a premier 36-hole golf facility, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Equipment Manager to oversee the maintenance, performance, and longevity of all golf course equipment. This role is essential to ensuring our maintenance team operates efficiently and our course conditions remain at the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and portray Vivamee values
- Perform and oversee reel maintenance and precision adjustments
- Maintain and repair mowers, utility carts, tractors, implements, and golf carts
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure all equipment remains in optimal working condition
- Diagnose mechanical issues and perform timely repairs
- Manage parts inventory and maintain accurate service records
- Coordinate equipment usage and scheduling with the maintenance team
- Ensure all equipment meets safety and operational standards
- Train, mentor, and develop an assistant equipment manager, fostering growth, accountability, and skill development
- Assist in training staff on the proper operation, use, and care of all equipment to promote safety, efficiency, and longevity
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- High level of attention to detail
- Proven ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment
- Attentive, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
- Experience with turf equipment maintenance preferred
- Knowledge of golf course operations is highly desirable
Compensation & Benefits
Annual salary $50,000 - $70,000 depending on experience
