Dear MAAGCS Members,
In June of this year, Congressional Country Club will continue its storied tradition of hosting Championship golf with the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship. Tournament Prep is well under way, and we are currently looking for volunteers that have a great eye for detail.
After a tremendous effort from our team and contractors, the Blue Course completed an 18-month Golf Course transformation. The “New Blue” was opened for play in the Spring of 2021.
We are seeking volunteers for a full week commitment: Sunday Afternoon June 19th – Sunday Morning June 26th. For Non-Local volunteers we will provide lodging for the week. The full week commitment will allow our team to schedule effectively for a successful Championship.
Volunteers make up the heart and soul of the agronomy team during championship week; dedicating their time and expertise on a wide array of tasks to help us host an amazing tournament. Through volunteering at the 2022 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, you will gain valuable tournament experience and network with industry professionals.
