RICHMOND, VA; February 1, 2024: W.S. Connelly & Companies (“WSC”), a leader in the turf and ornamental industry, is thrilled to announce the appointment of industry veteran, Dave Kardos, GCS, as a Business Development Manager.
In this pivotal role, Dave will spearhead WSC’s efforts to identify and pursue new market opportunities, expand our reach, and drive growth across the organization. With Dave’s extensive experience in the golf course management industry, we are confident that he will be a valuable asset to achieve our strategic goals.
Dave brings over 40 years of industry leadership to WSC, with the last 25 years as the Director of Grounds at Burning Tree Club in Bethesda Maryland. Before Burning Tree, Dave’s career stops include River Bend Golf and Country Club. Great Fall Virginia, Lakeview Resort. Morgantown West Virginia, and Longue Vue Club in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Dave’s extensive golf course management experience has revered him as one of the top superintendents in the country. He graduated from the Penn State Turfgrass Management program in 1987.
