ESAGCS emerged victorious at this year’s Chesapeake Challenge, held on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at Queenstown Harbor's River Course.

The day began with an informative presentation by John Hall of the John Hall Law Group. Hall spoke about workers’ compensation and emphasized the importance of understanding your rights and the proper procedures for using the program effectively.

Following the presentation, attendees enjoyed a classic cookout before teeing off for the annual Chesapeake Challenge. Each association fielded 19 teams, competing in a two-person best ball match format. One point was awarded for each match win, and a half-point for ties—though not a single match ended in a tie this year!

ESAGCS jumped out to an early 6-4 lead and maintained their momentum to defeat MAAGCS by a final score of 11-8. The prestigious Presidents’ Trophy was presented by MAAGCS President Shaun O’Connor to ESAGCS President Ryan Howard.

MAAGCS extends its sincere thanks to the Queenstown Harbor staff for their outstanding hospitality. The course was in excellent condition, and the food and beverage service was once again top-notch.
