The 2025 MAAGCS Annual Meeting, held at Rolling Road Golf Club, brought members together for a comprehensive day of education, recognition, and association business, highlighted by a featured presentation from Jon Lobenstine, Director of Agronomy for MCRA. Jon shared the compelling story of The Crossvines project, outlining its development from concept to completion and drawing insightful parallels between turfgrass management and viticulture. Following lunch, the formal business meeting included a year-in-review, memorial recognition of George Renault III, CGCS, and Raymond “Butch” Evans, CGCS, government relations and financial updates, and a look ahead at a robust schedule of events planned for 2026. The meeting also celebrated the association’s commitment to the future with the presentation of $25,500 in Turf and Child of Member Scholarships, recognized annual championship and match play winners, and awarded the GCSAA Conference & Trade Show giveaway.

During the meeting, the MAAGCS membership approved the 2026 Board of Directors and officers.
