The American Golf Industry Coalition (AGIC) concluded its 18th National Golf Day in Washington, D.C., May 4-6, bringing together more than 280 golf industry leaders for advocacy, collaboration and community service.

This year’s event highlighted golf’s growing impact across the U.S., with 48.1 million Americans engaging with the game in 2025. The industry generates $102 billion in direct economic output, supports 2.1 million jobs and sustains more than 15,000 small businesses nationwide.

Throughout the week, 200 volunteers participated in community service projects across the National Mall and Old Soldiers’ Home Golf Course, partnering with local organizations on restoration and beautification efforts. Industry representatives conducted 255 meetings with lawmakers from 40 states to discuss golf’s role in supporting jobs, small businesses, tourism, environmental stewardship and community development. Discussions focused on key industry priorities*, including responsible stewardship, health and wellness, charitable impact, and expanding access to the game.

*UPDATE: We're pleased to report progress on one of our top advocacy priorities. The FY2027 DHS spending bill released by the Homeland Security Appropriations Subcommittee includes a Certified Seasonal Employer (“CSE”) Exception to the H-2B visa cap. While additional action is needed before this becomes law, it represents an encouraging first step and reflects the importance of the workforce challenges highlighted during our meetings on Capitol Hill. Thank you for helping elevate this issue at National Golf Day.
