Champion Tad Dinan & Joe Haskins

It was a fantastic day at Rolling Road Golf club for the MAAGCS Annual Championship presented by Helena. There was slight overcast but temperatures stayed in the 60s making for a great day. Host Chris Fernandes had golf course in spectacular condition with fast greens, tight fairways and tough pin placements.

Leading the pack in the Superintendent/Assistant division was 5 time defending champion Jeff Rice of Oak Creek Golf Club and Tad Dinan of Crofton Country Club, both firing a 76. After a scorecard playoff it was Tad Dinan coming out ahead for his first title. Tim Connoll0y of TPC Potomac at Avenal Farm took first place net with a 71 with Ed Gasper of Whiskey Creek Golf Club finishing 2nd net with a 73.

In the Open Division, guest Miles Smith fired a 77 to take first place gross honors. Tim Riismandel of Ewing Irrigation shot a net 71 to finish first net, one stroke ahead of Rob Shumaker's of Irrigation Solutions who shot a 72.
